7th place in the Victorian middle distance championships (M55 division)
My most successful O carnival yet.
Orienteering really is one of the most inclusive sports there is. Participants range from under 5 to over 90. People do it on crutches. Every major event has courses which vary widely in length and difficulty, so no one is left out. Speed and navigational skill are both essential if you want to win, but many participate just for the enjoyment, or only to improve their map reading skills, or because they find just running to be boring.
Give it try.
Here are a few pics from the start of the Schools Relay event.
